Experience the thrill of riding an ATV along tracks in the Costa Rican rain forest during this exhilarating half-day activity from La Fortuna. You'll be transferred to a private farm situated next to Arenal Volcano National Park, and receive instruction from your guide on operating the ATV. Then follow your guide on a fun mud-splattered ride over rugged terrain, stopping for photo ops and an optional natural facial treatment.

If you want to ride atvs for a long time and get views of the volcano then this will do the job. The staff was really rude and impatient though, which actually led to a few safety issues on our route. At one point they left my group unattended for 30 min in the forest to go retrieve someone who got scared and stopped driving. No staff stayed with us. We made the best of it but be prepared .

Really good experience, my girl drove an atv for the first time and made it to every step of the tour, thanks to the amazing staff and equipment that they had. I was %100 satisfied with the activity, I’ll recommend it to all my friends. Andres is an exceptional tour guide.

This was our first tour in La Fortuna and it was a great introduction to the Volcano and the juggle area - we even saw a sloth in the trees! Andres was super knowledgeable and helpful during the tour. The best part was definitely the volcano clay mask we did by the river. It was such a nice break in the tour considering it was around 2 hours. I’d advise you do the evening tour because then you get the sunset as well.

The guide did a great job and the ATV experience was awesome.. This is mostly criticism of Viator. We identified hotel pickup and got emails from viator that indicated pickup between 1 hour and 30 mins before the tour, INCLUDED.. No drivers showed up so we jumped in our car and drove to the tour destination. Viator has a chat service and they don’t respond. We then learned that people who drove direct booked directly to the operator at the entrance to Arenal Volcano National Park. Tour operator has no pickup so must be a 3rd party ball drop. Others paid 1/2 what we paid. The Adventure guys are right there at the entrance to the park. Go direct and pay 60 bucks.

We had a group of 4 and Andres was super polite, patient, and knowledgeable so we can have a good time. The ride was adventurous and fun and we would have not survived unless Andres was supervising us. He is a great employee and he is also a good person. We would love to ride again with andres! ¡Pura vida!

Jorge and Andres were excellent guides for our ride! We ended up being the only 2 guests on the tour and got lots of time to take pictures at the lookouts that they stopped at.
It was very muddy from the prior day’s rain, so our shoes got a bit muddy from riding over the little water ponds. Go with shoes you don’t mind getting dirty.
We would definitely do this again and are very happy we booked!
Definitely do the mud facial, your face becomes incredibly soft afterwards.

The ATV was fun, guides were great! However, we followed the guide the whole time and stopped often to make sure everyone was behind us, thus we were limited to how fast we were going. We went pretty slow. I was also disappointed because it advertised free natural mud mask, but we didn't get to do that when we went.
